WE ARE... ROOTED IN GOD'S STORY

We believe that God’s Kingdom has come to earth, and it takes root in us when we recognize Jesus as our Lord. As we journey, and as we practice our faith and point people towards the hope, grace and healing that is found in Jesus Christ, the Kingdom of God takes root wherever we go, incarnating the good news of Jesus. We are rooted in God’s story.

"The church is like a slow-growing tree. Every church must start by submerging deep roots of relationship among people, a neighbourhood, around its tables. This is indeed where church starts."

-Dan White Jr

WE ARE... COMMUNITY CENTRED

We believe community is about developing intentional relationships that point one another towards Jesus in the midst of celebration, brokenness and everything in between.  We believe community is about creating space that encourages, cares for and supports one another, leaving room for uncertainty.   It’s a place where you are loved for who you are and challenged to be more.   Ephesians 4:1-4

WE ARE... PEACEMAKERS

We believe the church should be leading the way when it comes to peace and reconciliation in our world.  It begins with a pursuit for unity within the church community and extends beyond ourselves as we seek justice and restoration in our world.    Romans 14:19

WE ARE... WORSHIPPERS

"Praise brings heaven to earth; lament brings earth before heaven.  Together they express the suffering of the world before God and proclaim that one day we will lament no more!"    Worship is our expression of our love for God and we want to thoughtfully explore what these 'expressions' could look like together as we surrender together as a community of believers who are following Jesus' example.   Luke 22:41-43

WE ARE... OUR NEXT GENERATION

We love our kids and our teenagers and want them to become aware of a God that loves them and wants a relationship with them.   As we teach, encourage, love unconditionally and pray for our Next Generation, we hope they will one day want a faith of their own and understand their value in the life of ‘the church’.
